During this 13 week assignment I was fortunate to have worked with a great team in the rehab department at Winkler Court. Unlike any other assignment so far, I was blessed to be teamed with another SLP. Stef is the same age as my children. She has a maturity generally seen by much more experienced SLP's and women. Her patient's and co-worker's love her. She's a beauty. I wish I could have taken her with me, but she thinks she needs to stay with her Keith. He is kinda smart, and handsome, and funny, and, and, and.............the list go on. Keith is blessed to have met such a wonderful woman as Stef. Even though I have been doing what I do for quite awhile now, it always amazes me how much more I learn. The more I know, the more I realize how much I don't know. I had a wonderful time in Ft Myers. LeAnne, you were a great supervisor. Thank you to everyone....LeAnne (my MaryKay hook-up), Stefanie (let me know how the orchid garden goes), Lauren (HC really is cute), Mindy (thanks for all the local info), Katy (I will look you up in MN at Tiffanys), Tonya (you make the most awesome jewelry), Cindy (thanks for the belly dancing farewell), and Julie (the southern-belle with a lovely little girl). I will miss you all!
Chuy, our male Boston Terrier (approx. 2 years old) and Lily our female Beagle (almost 9 yrs old), thus the combination of their names = Chily, are embarking on a new journey with Kirk and I. As we travel in our RV to new and old places, we will share Chuy's and Lily's adventures, along with ours. This will definitely be an Expedition. Sadly, Lily and Chuy have passed away. We shared wonderful adventures with them.
