June 2016

The month of June was quite busy.  The crew at Chapparal worked very hard to prepare for the 4th of July holiday.
Our friends, Dan and Amy, and Tyler from Gladbrook came up for a weekend.  We had a great time, with campfire pizzas, putt putt golf, road trip for Amish baked goods, and lots of fun conversation.
On June 20th, Kirk broke his arm ( near the wrist) washing the motor home.  He's not quite sure what happened, but believes the ladder he was on got wet and he slipped.  Long story short, after an ambulance trip to Reedsburg hospital, he survived a mild concussion, and his right broken arm.  I'd like to commend the Lavalle/Wonewoc EMS for their speed and knowledge.  Dennis and Dianne for all they did to keep him safe prior to the ambulance arriving.   Dianne for staying with Kirk until I arrived at the hospital, and then staying with me until he went into surgery.   Nicki, Bella, and Isaac for coming to Reedsburg to make sure all was okay, and to give us hugs😍. Everyone at Chapparal for their thoughts, prayers, and kindness throughout!   TracyTaylor was right when he told me that "we take care of each other here".

Tyler, Amy, and Dan....professional putt putters, and future parents of baby G!  Congratulations!
Pizza fun at MooseJaw
Visiting "Amish Cabellas " is a treat.
One can't visit Wisconsin without taking a trip to the cheese factory.  Love me some curds.
Kirk is no longer allowed to climb ladders
I'll never lose this guy with that color.
