World class Hoop Dancers.
We were very fortunate to have been assigned to our guide, Leonard, a Native American. There were about 6 groups going out to the Canyon. We rode in a truck with bench seats in the bed of truck and plastic covering to protect us from weather. An interesting ride for sure. It was a huge difference from the private tour we had taken the day before with only one other couple. This tour had 10 people in each group, making it extremely crowded in the slot canyon. That being said, it was still an awesome tour. Leonard was very entertaining, assisted with our picture taking, and even played his 3-way Native American Flute at the end of the tour.

Sun rays looking like a waterfall
Double rays After the tour, Kirk and I took a scenic drive on hwy 89A over to Lees Ferry. We ate a late lunch at the Cliff Dwellers Lodge Cafe, walked over the bridge at Lees Ferry, overlooking the Colorado River, viewed the Vermillion Cliffs, and many other beautiful sites. Upon returning to our campground, Kirk (who doesn't know a stranger) went over to talk to the neighbors, who happened to be from WI. We had Happy Hour and a nice conversation with them.
